1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LMAO.fun (the "Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. These Terms govern your use of LMAO.fun’s services, including trading, token launches, and any other services offered by the Platform (collectively, the "Services"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using the Platform.

2. Decentralization and Custody of Funds

LMAO.fun is a fully decentralized platform. This means:

  • User-Controlled Funds: LMAO.fun does not hold or custody your funds. All assets remain under your control at all times, as you trade directly from your own digital wallets.

  • Self-Custody: You are solely responsible for the security and management of your wallet and private keys. Loss of access to your wallet or private keys may result in the loss of your funds, for which LMAO.fun cannot be held responsible.

  • No Recourse for Loss: Since the Platform is decentralized, LMAO.fun cannot assist with recovery of funds lost due to security incidents, loss of access, or errors during transactions.

3. Eligibility

By using LMAO.fun, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or the legal age in your jurisdiction.

  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

  • Your use of the Platform complies with the applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

4. Risk Disclaimer

Trading in cryptocurrency, especially speculative assets such as meme coins and new tokens, carries high risk. By participating in trading or token launches on LMAO.fun, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • High Volatility: Prices of digital assets can fluctuate significantly, resulting in potential financial loss.

  • Market and Security Risk: You assume all market risks associated with trading and token launches, as well as security risks associated with self-custody.

  • No Guarantees: LMAO.fun makes no guarantees of returns or profit from any trade or investment.

5. Services

LMAO.fun provides decentralized access to trading and token launch services, including but not limited to:

  • Trading: Trade digital assets directly from your own wallet with access to various digital assets and meme coins.

  • Launchpad: Participate in new token launches and projects through a decentralized launchpad model, governed by the specific terms of each launch.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Wallet Security: Maintaining the confidentiality of your wallet information, including private keys and recovery phrases. LMAO.fun does not have access to your private keys and cannot help recover lost access.

  • Compliance: Ensuring that your use of the Platform complies with all relevant laws and regulations.

  • Risk Assessment: Conducting your own research and assessment of the risks involved in trading and investing in digital assets.

7. Fees and Payment

Fees associated with trading and launchpad participation are outlined in our Docs. All fees are subject to change and will be reflected in real-time on the Platform.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users of LMAO.fun are prohibited from:

  • Illegal Activities: Using the Platform for any unlawful purposes, including money laundering or financing terrorism.

  • Market Manipulation: Engaging in activities such as wash trading, front-running, or any behavior intended to manipulate the market.

  • Unauthorized Automated Activity: Automated trading without explicit permission from LMAO.fun.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • LMAO.fun is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform.

  • The Platform and Services are provided on an "AS IS" basis without warranties of any kind.

10. Termination of Service

LMAO.fun reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at its discretion for violations of these Terms or any suspected fraudulent or unlawful activity.

11. Amendments

These Terms are subject to change. We will notify users of any significant updates, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
